Review scores on Trustpilot are really strange. How can they be calculated?
For example, 0.58×5+0.15×4+0.04×3+0.08×2+0.15=3.93
But Trustpilot still shows 3.0, much smaller than the expectation.
Why?

Another interesting phenomenon is that Producthunt has only 26 reviews, and Trustpilot on Producthunt has only 1 review…

The review sites themselves lack reviews, how can they get qualified to post reviews about other businesses???

If the site’s owner saw the rating shown on google searching result, he would be urgent to access Trustpilot to see why the rating is so low.
If the rating were normally shown, then he would not be so urgent to find out the reason.
That’s the tricky point of Trustpilot’s business model.
All for extortion.
